Comparison
If you're on Sierra Interactive and want AI texting your leads, there are two options built for it: Lead Engage, Sierra's own add-on, and BlooIQ, managed by Bludoor. They overlap. They're also built for different jobs. Here's a straight comparison, based on Sierra's published pages and ours.

The Short Answer
Software you run inside Sierra. It replies to new leads around the clock, qualifies them by text with Sierra's pre-built scripts, and alerts your agents and managers when a lead needs a person. A good fit if you want instant first response on new leads and have someone in-house to watch the conversations.
AI texting plus a person who runs it. It works the leads you choose (new, quiet, not-ready-yet, and old), updates your CRM, and hands you the ones ready to talk. A Bludoor database manager sets it up, reviews conversations, and adjusts strategy. A good fit if you want your database worked for you, not another tool to manage.
Both are fast on new leads. Sierra says Lead Engage replies instantly, 24/7. BlooIQ reaches out within the first couple of minutes of a new lead during your business hours. That short wait is on purpose, so the first text reads like a person, not a bot. Leads who register overnight hear from BlooIQ the next morning. The bigger differences are control and who runs it: BlooIQ talks as you, works your whole database, and comes with a person running it. It also works on Sierra's Starter package, where Lead Engage isn't offered. Pick one of the two; don't run both.
What They Are
Lead Engage is Sierra Interactive's AI texting add-on. Sierra also calls it Sierra AI and describes it as a 24/7 virtual assistant. It holds two-way text conversations with your leads, asks qualifying questions like price range, timeframe, and financing, and nurtures leads for up to 12 months from the day they're opted in.
You turn it on per lead source in your lead routing rules, start it on a single lead from the lead detail page, or add it as an action in a Sierra automation. When a lead replies and needs follow-up, Sierra notifies your agents and managers. Conversations are logged in the CRM, and managers get a Lead Engage stats report.
Sierra lists Lead Engage for its Essential and Growth packages. It isn't offered on Starter or on IDX-only accounts.
BlooIQ is AI-powered database engagement, managed by Bludoor. It texts your leads, qualifies them, keeps your CRM updated, and hands a lead to you with the full conversation and a short summary when it's ready.
Every plan includes a Bludoor database manager. That's a real person who keeps your CRM organized, reviews conversations, and adjusts strategy. You choose which stages BlooIQ works. Past clients, your sphere, and anyone you exclude are left alone.
BlooIQ works on Sierra Interactive, including Sierra's Starter package, and on Follow Up Boss. On Sierra, every plan includes the BluPrint Foundation build. Spanish is available on every plan (Starter, Growth, and Pro) by switching BlooIQ to a Spanish model. Today BlooIQ works by text; voice AI calling and email are coming soon.

Which One Fits
Pick One
We don't recommend running Lead Engage and BlooIQ at the same time. Two AI texters working the same database means the same lead can get texted by both, and double-texting is how you lose a lead's trust or get a STOP. Sierra's own help center says Lead Engage can run at the same time as action plans and manual texting. Adding BlooIQ on top means one more thing texting the same lead.
So choose the one that fits how you work. If you're moving from Lead Engage to BlooIQ, turn Lead Engage off before BlooIQ goes live, and tell us what else is texting your leads so we can set BlooIQ up around it.

Lead Engage. Sierra says it replies instantly, 24/7, once a lead is opted in, and routing rules can opt new leads in as they arrive.
